Tevise T801A
Tevise is a Chinese brand that is found on Gearbest and Aliexpress. It’s not very well known, but one of it’s watches has started getting a bit of a following. Specifically the Tevise T801A. A Rolex Submariner Homage. Now there are a ton of Subby homages out there. But The Tevise stands out for it’s combination of good looks, low price, and automatic movement.
Prices tend to fluctuate, but they can usually be found around $20-$25. It’s a 43mm watch, which takes it’s looks from the classic submariner. Although they also throw in a few extra colors as well.
Imitation Hulk
With last months Aliexpress sale, I decided to order one. Just to see what the fuss was. Although If I was going to get another subby homage, I decided I might as well get something a little different. So I ordered the green one. An obvious homage to the now famous Submariner hulk. Thus I nicknamed this one, the Imitation Hulk.
All in all, it’s suprisingly good for it’s price. Although it’s definetly not without it’s own set of flaws.
