Nakzen Pagoda Review

Ultra Affordable Dress Watch

You may not be familiar with the name Nakzen.  Most people wouldn’t be.  They are a small Chinese watch brand, which can be found on AliExpress.  This is the only Nakzen I have seen, but so far I’m impressed.  For well under $30 you get steel, sapphire, solid links, Japanese movement, and a stunningly beautiful dial.

I first became aware of this watch on the watchussek forum.  In fact Pagoda is the nickname given to it by members of that forum.  From what I know, Nakzen made a small batch of these for a frist run which sold out rather quickly.  But it left enough of an impression that members of the forum (myself included) started contacting Nakzen to ask them to make more.  Which they eventually did.

This blue version was not in the initial run, but was introduced in the second run of watches.  I was originally going to get a silver dial with blue hands, but something about this dial made an impression on me.  I won’t spoil the review to much, but I will say that this is watch that knows exactly what it’s supposed to be.  A very cheap, but beautiful quartz dress watch.
